Tour Itinerary
Beji Temple
Pura Beji Temple, situated in Sangsit Village, Buleleng, is a stunning example of the colorful architectural style characteristic of northern Bali. While its location near residential areas and its size may seem ordinary, the temple’s true beauty lies in the intricate carvings that embellish nearly every part of its structure. These detailed decorations highlight the rich artistic heritage of Balinese culture, making Pura Beji a unique and captivating destination for visitors.
Maduwe Karang Temple
Meduwe Karang Temple, known as the “Temple of the Owner of the Land,” is one of the largest temples in Bali, located about one kilometer beyond the Kintamani turn-off. This significant district temple is dedicated to Ibu Pertiwi, or “Mother Earth,” and is revered to ensure the successful fertilization of seeds grown on dry, un-irrigated land, such as coconuts, coffee, and corn. The temple plays an essential role in the agricultural practices of the local community, reflecting the deep connection between Balinese culture and the land.
Ulun Danu Batur Temple
Pura Ulun Danu Batur, built in 1926, is the second most important temple complex in Bali, following the Mother Temple of Besakih. This temple is dedicated to Dewi Batari Ulun Danu, the goddess of lakes and rivers. The name “Ulun Danu” literally translates to “head of the lake,” reflecting its close association with the surrounding waters. The temple’s serene location on the shores of Lake Batur adds to its spiritual significance and beauty, making it a popular destination for both worshippers and visitors.
Mount Batur and Lake View
Mount Batur (Gunung Batur) is an active volcano situated at the center of two concentric calderas, northwest of Mount Agung on the island of Bali, Indonesia. Known for its stunning landscapes and breathtaking views, Mount Batur is a popular destination for hikers and nature enthusiasts. The surrounding area also features picturesque Lake Batur, making it a significant site both geologically and culturally.
