Tour Itinerary
Hindu Melanting Temple
Melanting Temple, known as the “Temple of the Trader,” is a place where traders and businesspeople come to seek fortune and good luck. With its rich historical architecture and unique location, it is one of the best local temples to visit. Dating back to the 15th century, the temple is situated on the slopes of Mount Pulaki, surrounded by tropical forests and local vineyards.
Visitors to Melanting Temple can experience a deep sense of spirituality while enjoying the natural tranquility of the area, far removed from the hustle and bustle often associated with other temples. This serene setting makes it a perfect spot for reflection and connection with nature.
Pulaki Temple
Pulaki Temple is one of the largest Hindu temples in Bali, located on the coastal side in the western part of Singaraja town, about an hour’s drive from the town. Situated in Banyu Poh Village, Grokgak Sub-District, within the Buleleng Regency, the temple is nestled on a foothill directly facing the coast. Its stunning location offers beautiful views and a serene atmosphere, making it a significant spiritual site for visitors and locals alike.
Release the Turtle
The Turtle Hatchery of Pemuteran, located in the far west of Bali, was established in 1994 by Australian Chris Brown, the owner of a local diving company. The project began when he purchased a sea turtle from a fisherman who had accidentally caught it in his net, aiming to save its life. The turtle was initially tied to a rope and allowed to graze in the sea during the day, while at night, it was brought into a small pond. Soon after, a second turtle joined the first, marking the official beginning of the Turtle Hatchery Project. This initiative has since played a crucial role in the conservation of sea turtles in the region.
Pearl Farm
Atlas Pearls is renowned as a global leader in eco-pearling, specializing in the highly sought-after silver and white Pinctada maxima, commonly known as South Sea pearls. With five farms across the Indonesian archipelago, one of the largest is located near Singaraja in North Bali, a popular holiday destination. This commitment to sustainable practices ensures the production of high-quality pearls while preserving the marine environment.
Hatten Winery
The vineyard of Hatten Wines is located along the North Coast of Bali, between the towns of Seririt and Pemuteran. In partnership with local landowners, Hatten Wines manages a 45-hectare vineyard in the village of Sanggalangit.
Visitors are welcome to explore the vineyard, enjoy wine tasting amidst the vines, and browse through a small souvenir boutique at the Welcome Center and Observation Deck. The vineyard is open every Monday to Saturday, providing a unique experience for wine enthusiasts and tourists alike.
Relax at Pemuteran Beach
Pemuteran is a beautiful beach destination located on the northwest side of Bali, perfect for a relaxing vacation under the sun. Situated about a one-hour drive from Lovina Beach to the west, it offers a tranquil escape from the busier tourist areas.
If you are traveling from the southern part of the island, the journey will take approximately 2.5 to 3 hours. However, the long drive is well worth it, as you’ll be rewarded with stunning views of this seaside village and the opportunity for snorkeling adventures in the vibrant coral reefs nearby.
